Area Sunset is a vast restaurant and lounge bar complex, situated at El Pedruchillo on the La Manga Strip, La Manga del Mar Menor.

It´s deliberately designed to ensure that there´s something on offer to suit all tastes and all budgets, with different zones to suit the service and style of food and drink on offer.
Area Sunset is located right on the edge of the beach, so step out of the door straight onto the sands and into the Mar Menor. Directly on the beachfront are parasols and beachbeds , with sailing and sea equipment for hire, and the restaurant is about 100 metres from the departure and arrivals point of the Los Alcázares to la Manga ferry. One of the most popular areas is the ,b>cheerful beach frontage, welcome shade from the heat of the day, with a range of drinks, ice creams and snack meals on offer. Choose from a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, pizzas and more traditional Spanish snacks, with superb views out across the Mar Menor.

At night time this is one of the best locations on the Mar Menor to watch the sun go down, and there are some spectacular photographs in the bar area showing the sunsets which can be experienced from this location.
There are two separate A la Carte Restaurant areas. One of these is open air with shady al-fresco dining and the other offers air conditioned comfort for those who prefer a cooler environment in which to eat.
