Chez Zoe French Restaurant

Chez Zoe is the only French restaurant in Mazarron, The chef, Zoe Bagnis Allaoui, having only recently taken it over from the previous owner, for whom she worked for several seasons.

Previously the restaurant was called Les Enfants terribles,/ Los Ninos Terribles, so don't be confused if you see that name on the awnings outside- they're just expensive to replace!

Zoe is a very talented French chef with nearly 20 years experience and is adept at rustling up classic French dishes, with robust flavours and that little" je ne sais quoi" that only true French chefs seem to have.

She makes everything fresh on the premises, and whilst she offers a menu del dia at lunchtimes, always attempts to add a little continental flair to the food on offer, so you're as likely to find crepes and boeuf bourguignon on the menu as rice pudding and pork chops

Don Ricardo’s Bar and grill offers a comprehensive menu of International Cuisine in an attractively decorated setting close to the Indoor Market of the Puerto de Mazarron.

The menus are carefully designed to appeal to a variety of tastes, with a mixture of traditional British classics, dishes with a definite continental slant and those showing oriental influence, but are all cleverly adapted to ensure that food is presented in an attractive fashion with flavours to complement the core ingredients.

There's no question of a piece of griddled chicken breast drenched in olive oil appearing on a plate with a few tired looking French fries, the chicken here will be offered with a sage and mushroom sauce, or the mussels in a fennel and cava broth or green thai coconut sauce.

El Nautilus sits on the corner of the Marina in Mazarron, looking out across moored boats and promenade to the sea beyond, occupying a spot with a seafaring history, being the location of a fishermans restaurant for many years.
Its’ striking blue colour can be clearly seen on the corner of the marina, and reflects the friendly welcome that diners receive from the Belgian owners Annita and Ralph.
The restaurant attracts a mixed bag of nationalities as it serves a combination of classic continental dishes, combined with the Spanish ethos of offering excellent value for money , and the portions are generous to say the least

One of Mazarrons best kept secrets is the little Bar and Restaurant El Meson, which is tucked away from general view on the Las Torres Camping Park.

The camping park is on the outskirts of the Puerto de Mazarron, just a short drive from the sea and has an active community of full-time residents, as well as a regular flow of visitors throughout the year.

The Meson is an English run family restaurant which offers a good selection of bar snacks, standard meals and tapas throughout the year, at extremely realistic prices.

The New Royal is a traditional British Pub, serving British Food in a British atmosphere.

The only minor details which give it away as being in Spain are the stunning sea views from the outdoor terrace and the warm winds drifting in from the beach which is just a stones' throw from the front door.

Wooden paneling, warm interior décor and memorabilia create the real ambience of a traditional British pub, and no expense has been spared to make ex-pats feel right at home.
