Mazarron Amateur Boxing Club

Started by Ian Munday, Senior ABA Coach and with over 50 years experience in the ring, Mazarron amateur boxing club welcomes all those who wish to learn basic boxing skills and improve fitness. Sessions are held every Tuesday, for Juniors, under 14 years, from 7-8pm and Thursdays, for seniors, 7-8pm, and cost 5 euros a session. Sessions incorporate a fitness routine, skipping, tuition in footwork, punching and defence techniques on punch bag and pads. Contact is voluntary, minimal and very strictly supervised. Ian, a former six times Home Counties ABA Champion and top ten rated amateur boxer, has coached at Reading, Basingstoke, Kidderminster, Redditch, and Norwich boxing clubs.
