Friends & Buddies We meet at Cats Bar [the old El Saladillo Vista Sports Bar] on Tuesdays from 8pm – apart from the second Tuesday of the month when we meet at Los Galayos, on the Paseo de Rihuete in the Port. We have short meetings to plan functions, meals, outings, etc. We also hold game nights, alternative race nights, etc. So, if you are on your own and fancy some good company – then come along and check us out. There is no age limit; males and females are both welcome. The basic aim of Friends & Buddies is to make available company, friendship and contacts [plumbers, electricians, etc.] for those persons who, for whatever reason, find themselves living on their own. It is not a dating agency! There is no need to be lonely – come along and give us a go – see you at our next meeting.

Mazarron Bahia Lions Club
There is a New Pride of Lions in this Club, which has seen a transformation over the past few months and is now able to consider a growth in members and activities covering everyone in this area of Murcia.
Lions International, which is our Parent Organisation is what it says, an international service club. We have clubs in 320 countries of the world with over 1.8 million members. We have been able to help thousands of communities in a variety of different ways.
The Lions Club of Mazarron Bahia is now open to like minded people from all walks of life and nationality to consider becoming a member of Lions International. Membership is by invitation and we would love to hear from you in the near future.

Mazarron Country Club Social Group
On Thursday 3rd March the MCC Social was officially formed and now has over 100 members, this includes English, German and Dutch residents. The Committee is multi-national and was voted on by all present and is as follows: Chairperson: Pat Gassner Vice Chairperson: Dave Wardley Secretary: Vivian Austin Treasurer: Jane Wilmot Entertainment Secretary: Ricky Wilding Other Members: Ingrid Coates Lyn Snowden It was decided at the meeting that the membership fee for 2006 would be 5€ per Adult and 2.50€ per Child. Benefits of being a member When becoming a member you will automatically receive an activities calendar and we will keep you updated on future events either by e-mail or post. Members will have evening dinners / trips at a slightly lower price than non-members. As a non profit club any profits at the end of the year will be spent on a subsidized event for members. NOSMO Social, Group
NOSMO social group meet most Wednesdays at 19.00 at the Roda Civic Centre in
Los Alcazares where over 50 members enjoy many different social activities.
We are open throughout the year except for a summer break in July and August. Every last Wednesday of the month we have a Menu del Dia at different restaurants chosen by our members.
There is a once only joining fee payment of 10€ and 1€ payment on the door when attending a function. However, there is no pressure to join and people are encouraged to attend a few times before deciding if they want to become members. This means that members who are only in Spain for a certain length of time each year only pay when they are here.

Puerto de Mazarron Ladies Circle
Friendly ladies group which meets every week. We have talks , demonstrations, craft displays and a whole range of activities on offer for members. The first week of each month we have a craft sale for members, and we run regular coach trips and outings for members, as well as a programme of social activities. Annual membership costs just 25 euros a year, or visitors may pay 3 euros per visit. Call Anne or Linda for more details.
