The Arches Cafe Bar The Arches in Los Alcazares is a friendly, busy Café Bar which offers hospitable service and top value for money.

It’s open every day from 10 until late, except Thursday's when it closes at 5pm, serving down to earth, value for money meals that do exactly what it says on the tin.

There are Full English breakfasts available until 3pm for late risers, in large, small or vegetarian portions, and at The Arches Cafe Bar lunchtime a full range of sensible family meals are available to order including the popular credit crunch special lunches.

At only 6.25 a head, diners can choose a starter of salad or homemade soup, followed by the Daily Special, which varies according to the day of the week:

Monday - Burger and Chips, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Pasty and chips

The Arches Cafe Bar Tuesday – Shepherds Pie, Chips and Peas, Chicken a la Creme, Pasty and chips

Wednesday – Liver, Bacon and Onion and Chips, Chicken curry and rice, Pasty and chips

Thursday – Ham, Egg and Chips, Steak Pie, Chips and peas, Pasty and chips

Friday- Chicken and Ham Pie and chips, Lasagne and chips, Pasty and chips

Saturday – Mixed grill and chips, Chili con carne, Pasty and chips

The Arches Cafe Bar In addition, Cod and Chips is available on Tuesdays -Fridays from 6pm, although it is advisable to book as the fresh fish stocks are limited, and on Sundays a traditional Sunday lunch is available from 1pm, with all the trimmings.

As well as offering excellent value meals, the Arches enjoys a busy entertainments programme all year around, having not only a downstairs level, but also an upstairs entertainments room which is used for various activities by local groups.

On Monday there is Aerobics from 6-7pm.

On Tuesday there is Weight Watchers from 10.30 am.

On Wednesday there is line dancing from 3-5pm and a live entertainments board gives details of any other weekly events taking place, and from the 16th December, Friday night is Rock n Roll night, with a The Arches Cafe Bar 1 hour dance class from 8pm, followed by dancing to some great music. Admission is only 3 euros.

Special event nights which offer a meal and live musical entertainment at only 6 euros are inevitably packed, guaranteeing a good night out and superb value for money, and big act nights are held on a regular basis.

Entertainment Programme

What´s on Los Alcázares live music at The Arches

The Arches continues with a busy programme of entertainment throughout October and into November. There are some superb artists appearing here, with everything through from Rock and Roll, Blues and Contemporary Pop.

You´ll find a great selection of home cooked food, with family favourites and traditional home from home cooking at The Arches, no nonsense, just really good value.

Breakfasts are served until 3pm and start from only 3.40 euros, then at lunchtime from Monday to Saturday the fantastic credit crunch lunch is available at only 6.25 euros for 2 courses. The choices change every day, with favourites such as chicken and chips, chicken curry, liver, bacon and onion, shepherds pie on offer as main courses with a choice of starter as well.

On Sundays a traditional Sunday lunch is available, from 1pm and proper fish and chips is the dish of choice on Tuesday and Friday from 6pm.

There's also a good stock of second hand books available for animal charities, and on Saturday mornings, MABS hold a book sale to raise money for their cancer support work.

In addition, there´s a great programme of free live entertainment with something for every taste.
