Flamenco Gala for Lorca appeal

On the 27th May at 9pm, the Peña Flamenca of Lo Ferro will be holding a gala night to raise funds for the Lorca appeal.

This is a mixture of song and dance and is true flamenco, not the tourist flamenco as seen in bars along the coast.
It features invited artists Verónica Lozano, from Lorca; Ángeles Baeza, from Murcia Ginés Mirón, from  Almería;
and Isabel Nicolás, from Murcia. Also Raúl Alcántara "El Troya, from Córdoba and winner of the Melón de Oro 2007;
and Sebastián Santiago,from Mazarrón; accompanied on guitar by Alberto Lucena, from Córdoba.
Alsio taking part are the dancers of the Compañía de baile de Daniel Valera Melenchón and Elena Escolar.
Tickets are 10 euros, all the money destined for the Lorca appeal.
