The Terra Natura wildlife and water
park has opened the water section for the summer with an excellent value offer,
valid throughout the next three months when all we want to do is cool down and
get into the water.
The Terra Natura complex is situated just on the outskirts of Murcia, near to the major retail parks, and comprises a full wildlife park which is open all year around and the water park which opens for the summer.
It has over 300 animals, including Giraffes, from 50 different
species, including 3 endangered species and is themed into different areas,
with the animals living in spacious enclosures.
The site has been landscaped with a vast range of trees and shrubs, giving it a lush and authentic feel, and there are plenty of areas to entertain and educate, and a number of different activities to enjoy.
During the summer the waterpark is opened with a great selection of slides, chutes, tubes and rivers, designed to wear out the kids and allow their parents ( or grandparents!) to relax and enjoy an exciting day out.
There are chutes to suit all levels of water enthusiasts: from the
adventure river which can be enjoyed on a single or double float, to the
Kamikaze, a high speed attraction which gives the sensation of free fall on a
roller coaster with various configurations.
There's also the black hole with strobe lighting or the speed hole and if you prefer a less brain wobbling type of thrill, you can chill out on the gentle chutes, bobble along on the tranquil river, or splash around in one of the pools with their water towers and water games.
An entry ticket gives full access to both areas, so visitors can choose how energetic they want their day to be, but as there's so much to see and do, the park have a special offer which is valid all summer.
The offer is basically that if you buy an entry ticket for one day,
you can go back the next day for free, which makes the park a very attractive
proposition for those who have offspring to entertain for the week or are here
on holiday and have accommodation without swimming facilities.
It's also a way of ensuring that those who come along with offspring have the opportunity to visit the wildlife park, as it's quite normal to rush off and start bombing down the waterslides without having the opportunity to see the other attractions the whole park has to offer.
Bear in mind though, that the ticket is only valid for the day after
your first visit, and not at any other time. The Zoo opens from 10am and the Water Park
from 11am.
