The META Riding Centre are running a series of courses for those who would like to learn to ride at their family run stables near to Alhama.

The courses offer exceptional value for money at only 45 euros for four lessons, taken between Monday-Thursday in either the morning or afternoon , and the offer is valid between March and May.

If you have any interest at all in horses, this riding stables is a great place to know about.

Not only do they offer classes at all levels, both private or group tuition, for all ages and abilities, but they also run a pony club for children, organise pony weekends and summer camps with sleepovers, hold open days and competitions, and also run hacks out into the beautiful countryside for both residents and visitors of all ages and abilities.

 

Lisi and David, the owners, are passionate about their horses and bring the joy of horses to not only able bodied, but also disabled riders and are sensitive and empathetic when teaching students of all ages, particularly those who are a little nervous of perhaps learning to ride or starting to ride again after a long while without having ridden.

 

Visitors to the stable are always impressed by the care given to the horses and the immaculate conditions in which they are kept and cared for and the genuine warmth with which they are welcomed into the daily life of this well run stables.

Directions to the Centre from the Mazarron direction

We are in La Costera de Alhama de Murcia.

 Follow the RM3 until it splits in two, then take the RM23 signposted to Alhama de Murcia. Follow this road until you come to the large roundabout. Take the second exit signposted El Palmar MU603. You will come to a second roundabout, go straight over and follow the road to META. We are 5 minutes up the road on the right hand side in Los Ventorillos.
