19th December, evening 5km race, Totana, to benefit CaritasOn Saturday 19th December at 7pm, a running race is being held in Totana to benefit the charity, Caritas, who help those less fortunate than ourselves.

There are four classes, Junior, born 1991-1994, senior, 1974-1990, Veterans from 36-49 years of age and Veterans B, over 50's.

The course distance is 5km and comprises two laps of an urban route, leaving from the Plaza de la Ayuntamiento.

Advance registrations are 6 euros, with all participants finishing the race receiving a commemorative top and there are trophies for the winners.

Registrations can be made on www.clubatletismototana.com or on the day, but then entrance is 10 euros, with all the proceeds going to two local branches of Caritas.

 

Although this is a race, it is intended to make it as entertaining and as much fun as possible for participants and spectators, so each runner will also be given a Father Christmas hat with their number and hot chocolate and Christmas sweets will be served for all at the end of the race.
