The day of Saint Valentine approaches, and those living in the area around Roldán might like to celebrate with a romantic evening at Läudan in Roldán. 

On the 11th February, the restaurant is offering a Valentines meal, starting from 9pm, as follows:

 

Starters:

Octopus a la Romana

Prawns cooked on a hot plate

Serrano ham and cheese

 

Main Course

Steak with chips and salad

or Salmon with potatoes and green vegetables

 

Dessert

Spanish cheesecake with raspberries, formed into a heart shape

or

Chocolate tart in the form of a heart

 

15 euros per person with a bottle of wine between two people.

  

If you've not been to Laüdan before, it´s a characterful Tapas bar / Restaurant located in the centre of Roldan which serves a selection of drinks, tapas , light snacks and menu del día during the day, and an A la Carte Menu during the evening.

It has a comfortable, traditionally Spanish atmosphere, and is somehow more welcoming than many of the bars and tapas bars which proliferate in town centres, substituting the fluorescent lighting and white tiles which seem to be standard, with warm colours, comfortable wooden chairs and a cheerful feel of the Spanish countryside.

It´s located in the main town Plaza, next to the church and has a wide shaded outdoor area for those who prefer to enjoy the warmer evenings outside.

 

There´s plenty of parking around the Plaza and behind the Restaurant.

Saturday night is Steak Night

On Saturdays it´s 2 for 1 on entrecôte steak or a special offer on 2 fillet or 2 rib eye steaks. 14.95 for 2 people.

 

Weekday Menu del Día.

During the week, ie Tuesday to Sunday, a 3 course lunchtime menu del día with coffee and drink included costs just 7 euros

 

Top Value Menu de Noche

A 3 course Menu de  Noche costs just 10 euros, including a bottle of wine shared between 2 people.

 

Sunday Roast

On Sundays, enjoy a traditional Sunday roast.  3 courses is just 14 euros for two people and includes all the trimmings, withiout the effort of having to cook and wash up!

Booking highly advisable on Sundays as the restaurant can get very busy.
